Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.

Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Panda Eyes

Oh joy — the morning after a night spent dressing up  Red wine down the wedding dress, make-up strewn all over the bedroom floor, eyes like a panda.

And to make matters worse, I'm off to the dentist in an hour.

(Yes, really, sometimes we do go to the dentist over here in the UK  )

I've been looking through those pictures this morning — sometimes in the cold light of morning the things that are wrong with them pop out at you, unlike when you're actually doing them. I think I get so wrapped up in trying to look pretty that I don't notice some glaring errors sometimes.

My foundation for example: it's poo  I was looking at a picture I took of myself accidently, of my neck (we all get them don't we? ) and I notice that my face was so yellow! :o Hideously yellow!

I don't know if it was to do with the light (the white-balance on my digital camera isn't that good) or whether I have totally the wrong shade of foundation or what ... but coincidently I used up the last of my foundation last night, so I'm going to have to go and get some more.

Oh God  That means being Up Front™ in a department store sigh

There is also the possibility that the stuff I use to cover up my stubble is completely the wrong shade I suppose  I have two pots of Dermablend and some (yes, mock me if you like) Miracle Beard Cover ('miracle' my arse...). The Beard Cover is very darkm and the Dermablend just seems to go all grey

Perhaps I should ask Pauline how she manages to do it so well?

Actually, that seems like a damm good idea  I'll give her a call and pester her today

In the meantime though, I'd better have another go at getting this eyeliner off my face, and brush my teeth...

...

OK, just the one filling  And no drill yay!

(Yes, well, actually I have to go back in a few weeks and have a wisdom tooth rebuilt from scratch, but don't piss on my parade OK?)

...

Crap! CuChulainn crashed on me :o He's only done that once before

Thank God for fsck

all depends on ur natural skin colour....or so im told...

Anyway, i now use the kryolan stuff and its actually called 'tv paint stick' amazing eh?

www.charlesfox.co.uk or get it at Anything Theatrical (in manchester, round the corner from debenhams) costs about £9, but lasts almost forever...

This stuff is applied with a damp sponge and you dab it onto ur skin NOT wipe!

Then all u need to do use a setting powder, personally i use a transparent one.

Tra-daa one clear good coloured complextion. Assuming uve got the right colour in the first place that is (you can in fact mix to colours in required).

The stuff is a bit gooey when it comes off (i hate taking the make up off) and id recommend that you exfoliate your face before you apply it.

I found that those wipes are good at removing make-up, but with this stuff i think you will need a good 'mud' cleaner too. i suggest, goes to get tube...
