Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
It go boom!
Two things of note today: (1) I've tidied my studio
(2) It's the fireworks tonight.
I wrote about them this time last year — they're fab. But as I mentioned a wee while ago, I've invited quite a few people back to mine afterwards for wine and sausages.
All good — but it means that me and Kath have quite a bit to do today to get ready. We have to buy a ton of booze for a start ![]()
I hope it'll be alright — I haven't really catered for a lot of people for ages
...
Oh for fuck's sake ![]()
I don't know if I've told the trauma of my television yet — but basically, the thing has been annoying me for years. It goes a little blue after it's been on for a while — not majorly upsetting, but irritating enough to piss me off...
...well, about a month and a half ago, it went kaput
The blue channel gave up completely and I had a yellowy-red screen.
Being crap (as I am) I only got round to calling the engineers out yesterday. I raced home from Kath's this morning to be home when they turned up — and just to make sure, I flicked it on to check that it was still broken...

Arse. He couldn't fix it because there was nothing wrong with it
I betcha though, later on tonight, it's going to break again.
It's like when you car is making funny noises, and you take it to the garage, but the minute you get there it stops making the noise.
I believe there's a name for this: Sod's Law
...
Oooh! Wierd!
The skin on my fingers is all peeling off!
This might have something to do with the latex gloves I was using yesterday while I cleaned noxious chemicals off the Big Machine™ at work having holes in them
I'm slightly concerned...
