I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. Pretty Sunsets Through Shakey Car Windows

Kath and I have been out today for a little trip — we went up to Holker Hall near Cartmel and bought food and stuff. I've never been beforem but Kath has — last time she went she brought me back smoked wild boar, which was a lot less yummy than it sounds (but very yummy nonetheless)

Anyway, I'm (actaully, both of us are) feeling a bit tired, so I'm not going to write tonnes today. There's a couple of things I wanted to blow off about — but they're a bit ranty and, well, I'm in a lovely warm cosy mood...

...so I will just share some photographs from today instead...

It was a gorgeous day today — which was nice after all that shitty rain we've had recently. Nice, but very very cold.

We got there quite late, and really just had time for a bite to eat and a little stroll — the sun was starting to set.

Although I must say, it was rather a stunning sunset.

So, enough of the scenery. Let me just share with you my girlfriend's skill at taking pictures from a moving car. She was trying to take a shot of the sun setting over the bay...

Actually, I'm being really unfair. I was throwing the car round country bends at the time, and the battery was running out.

She did manage to get a shot of a rather disturbing amount of smoke coming from one of the hills though :unsure:

Not sure what it was — I thought the farmers were just burning the fields, but as Kath pointed out, it seems to be coming from one source.

...

Anyway, a fab day :biggrin: Tonight we're just going to slob infront of some movies. The Day After Tomorrow, and Shaun Of The Dead. No idea if they're any good or not (aparrently Shaun is — it's Spaced with zombies...) but we'll see.
