Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.

Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

To do...

OK, things to do today... not that I'll achieve them or anything, it just makes me feel better when I have Lists of Stuff™ to organise myself. (Um, maybe I will achieve them — who knows? I've been rubbish at getting things done recently, I should really kick myself in the butt and be productive...)

  • Code student Blogs — so that I don't feel that I'm doing sweet FA at work
  • Tidy bedroom — it really is a mess
  • Call/email website clients — if I want to earn any money that is...
  • Get on with the Sparkle website — cos I'm running out of time
  • Figure out two places to stay — one for Leeds, the other for this coming weekend
...

Let's just dwell on my bedroom for a second (it seems appropriate, I'm currently lying in bed, surrounded by a mixture of cats and mess)...

I'm having a real problem with clothes storage these days. When I first decked out my bedroom, which must have been, oh, I dunno, about eight years ago or so (after I finally got the house back to myself after having a lodger) I didn't have many clothes. Just a couple of suits, some jeans, some t-shirts and the odd ballgown.

These days, naturally, I've got buckets of fabric hanging all over the place — tonnes of skirts and t-shirts and shirts and dresses and other stuff — and quite frankly, it's a nightmare.

I've got a washing basket (a very nice wicker one thankyouverymuch) which kinda doubles up as a place to store underwear too.

It's not a good system

So, what I need is somewhere to store all the stuff that doesn't need to be hung up. I'm thinking I go out and get maybe two more baskets (square ones preferably) so I can put underwear in one, t-shirts in another, and keep the current one for actual washing. It's either that or put up some shelves...

The thing is though, what I've got at the moment is just a rail that hangs in the alcove between the chimmney and the wall. On the other side of the chimmney is another alcove which I could use — but I kinda like having a big plant and the TV there, and I don't want to crowd the bedroom with clothes hanging everywhere. And the majority of stuff I have — like t-shirts and things — don't really need to be hung up. OK, so the wedding dresses, the suits, the shirts, the frilly things — they do need to be hung, but I can get away with the rest of it.

I was just thinking that maybe I should try and keep my boy-clothes seperate from my girl-clothes  ... but nah, not really  I wear them all regardless, so maybe it would be daft to try and draw a distinction between them.

...

The two other things I need to do in my bedroom though, are (a) get two bedside tables, and (b) get rid of the bloody wine bottles

Ack, I need a maid

Any takers?
