Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.

Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Trannie is a State of Mind

So, I was talking to Dave the other night, and we were discussing whether or not it would be easy to put some kind of time-stamp on the diary entries — so that you could tell from the front page whether or not I'd updated them. A cunning plan, but I thought I'd take it a step further.

I've been meaning to do an RSS feed for the site for ages — and I actually got round to it this morning. It's nothing fancy, just a simple translation of the diary into XML, but I think it works OK.

The link is over there on the right — the little orange thing. I'd post the link here too, but seeing as I'm now churning out two* weblogs, it'll all get confusing.

*Yep — I took the plunge. There is now a blog-only site  Next step: promote...

...

The latest question on my FAQ got me thinking this morning. Not just about coming out, but also about what being a trannie means. I may have ranted about this before, so apologies, but I think it's important

I was having a conversation with Natalie last night — and we were discussing the idea that wearing dresses does not a trannie make. I'm convinced there's something about the way my head works that makes me do all this — and it's not something that can, or will, ever go away.

We were talking about the admirers in the chatrooms that start dressing because they've noticed that the 'girls' get a lot more attention than they do (apologies where they're due ) — and Natalie came out with the line "I'm a transvestite even when I'm dressed as a guy"

Which I think is fab

...

Speaking of dressing, apart from the drive home yesterday mornng, I have spent the whole of 2005 dressed as a girl

(Yeah — sorry. Crap joke  I'll go hide now...)

...

Here's something that's been increasingly annoying me as the day goes on... I've noticed, over the past few months, that the top of my desk is colder than underneath. Not really that surprising considering there's a radiator underneath it  But the top is irritatingly cold. And I've just found out there's a draft coming through a crack in the window frame  That's making my hand really uncomfortable.

I should fix it I guess. I feel a gaffer-tape adventure coming on...
