Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
Subcutaneous Evil
D'ya know, I had thought, that by the time I reached the age of (nearly) 33, I would have come out the other side of puberty... but for the past couple of days, I've had a huge bastard spot on my forehead, just between my eyes ![]()
It started yesterday morning, I thought it was a wine-induced headache, but no (that would have been preferable) there was a large lump under my skin. Today though, it's ripening quite quickly — the minute it gets a head it's getting popped ![]()
(I know — a bad idea. But a fun one I think

Do you know where I can get a free version of "Farewell to Arms"? Gutenberg doesn't have it.
No Geena, sorry. If it's out of copyright, then chances are it will appear soon enough, Sarah West (who came for tea last night) was telling me that Google themselves are going round hundreds of libraries, digitising books for a similar purpose.
As long as they're out of copyright (she stressed, yet again)

I'm back from work a lot earlier than usual today — the motor on the press went kaput, so there wasn't really anything we could do until it gets fixed. Apparently, brand new, they cost about £15K, so replacing it isn't really a possibility

Anyway, rather than blogging for the sake of it, I'm going to go off and stare at more code for a bit. 'S probably a good idea...

trannifesto.co.uk readers (the few of them that there are yet) may have noticed that I've ditched the Blogrolling links on the right, in favour of del.icio.us links instead. I wouldn't have mentioned it (I think it's kinda obvious isn't it?
), but from reading other blogs it would appear to be traditional to mention such a switch.

you've been switching since you were 10, admit it.
