Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.

Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

A Surprising Absence (for a Guy)

Dammit. I wish I had balls

I spent ages yesterday afternoon doing my nails (they're rather nice at the moment), filing them, painting them, doing several coats to get them just right ... and then remembered that I was seeing a client thiss morning, and elected to take the polish off

Sometimes, I just wish I had the courage to say "fuck it" and wear what I like

Just at the moment, I've really got into wearing certain items of clothing — I've even gone so far as to not bother taking them off if I'm driving round to Kath's — boobies and all. I know this might sound a bit weird (and Kath, please correct me if I'm in a world of fantasy here) but I'm starting to think that I suit boobs — dressed or not.

So yeah, I wish I had the balls to have breasts.

...

On a more positive note, the clients I saw loved what I've done for them — and I got (after much gnashing of teeth and internal swearing that no-one ever gets back to me about things) an email from a colleague who loved what I've done for the course.

All I need now is for The Guardian to reply to the email I sent and tell me why they didn't like this site.

[hint hint]

...

Rather belatedly, I discovered BitTorrent yesterday. I say "discovered", what I mean is used. I was getting annoyed that I couldn't get a good link to Apple's Keynote Speech (must just be too many people watching it) so I found a torrent on Slashdot, and left it downloading last night...

...and have spent most of the afternoon watching it

Will I buy any of the new stuff? Nah  The last thing this house needs is another Mac. But I do like it. I really do

Apple have got me.

I've ordered iWork — so that I don't have to keep using a Microsoft product. 'Pages' looks like the bastard lovechild of Word and Quark. And the new 'Keynote' looks like the illigitimate offspring of Powerpoint and Director. I can't wait to tinker (although I'll have to because it's not shipping until the end of the month).

But I do like the idea of the new cheap Mac. Not that I need a fifth Mac in my house. (Yes. I am that bloody sad. And I love each and every one of them.) I think Mr Jobs is being pretty smart again. The world will move to Mac and be filled with happier people. Aaaaaaaah...

Hee hee  That's not sad. Having 26 Macs in your house just cos you see them on Ebay and feel sorry for them, that's sad

I will find a use for them some day — I promise.

So being the thinest trannie in the world wasn't enough. Nooo, you had to grow your hair long and now you're thinking of growing breasts too...mutter mutter Actually I think they do suit you HUG

As for bit torrent. I only really bother with it to download an episode of a program if I missed it, or Star Trek Enterprise. If I didn't download Enterprise I'd have to live the exisitance of a hermit as chat rooms, web pages and magazine articles would keep on giving away the plot of an episode before it was shown in the UK. You will noticice there isn't much Mac software to download. I think Mac users are even more fanaticle then Linux users in promoting thier platform and want to make every soft ware sale count.

As for Mac itself. I'm not sure if the new i-pod will sell to anyone over the age of 14 but it's an intreasting development. And a mini mac shall be ours
