Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
Ill-prepared
Dammit, what is wrong with me today?! So tired. So fucking tired
Two days in a row now, I've crawled into bed at about lunchtime and dozed off for a few hours. My body aches, I'm all sweaty, and I just don't seem to have any energy. (Yes Kath — I've eaten today
)
Of course, this is not what I need right now
I should be packing, and doing Stuff™ instead of lying in bed. I still have loads to do before I go away for my Weekend Of Fun tomorrow.
I managed to get my legs done — shaved, not waxed — but I've still got to do several other bits and I haven't even started packing yet.
Trannie-packing: double what everyone else has to do ![]()
So, you'll excuse me if I'm a little crap today. Please. Pretty please. I was going to write a huge diatribe on how we all shouldn't be so mean to Trannie-fanciers (for want of a better name) but I think it'll have to wait.
PS. No, I didn't drink a thing yesterday

Just a quick note to confess that I've been converted ![]()
Ooooooow!
Once upon a time, I remember watching an episode of That's Life (remember that?) that mused on the question of whether or not men and women were equal. And to conduct their very serious and scientific research, they asked two old ladies to screw in a screw — much to the amusement of all, the ladies hit it with a hammer. Thus concluding that there were indeed things that men did better than women.
Do I need to wrap that in <sarcasm> tags?
Anyway, the reason this popped into my head was because I was just thinking that it's odd that some people get told how to do things — and it must seem rather amusing when those that haven't been told attempt to work it out for themselves.
Which is a lot like transvestism I feel ![]()
(Hmm, this is a little bit liike me not knowing what a sanitary belt was isn't it?)
OK, so no-one has ever told me how exactly to best shave your armpits. Which is why, right now, right this very second, I'm sat here with the stingiest armpits in the world
Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!
It hurts!
I'm going to have used the entire bottle of Nivea moisturiser that I bought yesterday before the day is out at this rate...
A Multi-Layered Thing
..which in turn (that outburst of "ow!"s that is) reminds me of something else — the time I bleached my arm hairs.
It strikes me that there are several levels of 'arsedness' involved in being a trannie. At the very 'not-arsed' end of the scale there's just popping on a skirt or some tights underneath your trousers ... but as you get progressively closer to the 'very-arsed' end of the scale, it gets more complicated.
For example, I'm currently swithering about whether or not I should bleach my arms again. (I know — not enough pain for one day
)
It's not essential — but since I'm going out and I've got time, I should maybe make that little bit more of an effort. Plus, I hate when my arms look all hairy in photographs.
So yeah, I reckon there's a sliding scale — and how far down the scale you go depends on how much you're going to get out of the experience. If, as is the case right now, you're about to go to some Big Do where there are going to be lots of other trannies, then the last thing you want is some little thing like armpit hair showing you up (which is why I just did them — especially seeing the top I've got for Saturday night is a bit revealing
)
Let's see if we can define the scale them...
Skirt -> Top -> Tights -> Stockings -> Suspenders -> Shave -> Make up -> Wig -> Tits -> Shave legs -> Paint nails -> Paint toenails -> Hips padding -> Shave armpits -> Bleach arm hair -> Tuck
Have I left anything out?

Hi Siobhan With pits the trick is to do them frequently stubble seems to be easier to deal with than a couple of months growth. Anyway I hope they are all calm and lovely for tomorrow night and have a good time!
Jane
don't rub it into the skin
That might be where I was going wrong ![]()
My pits still hurt BTW

of colour and yummy
I'll get my coat
Tiredness: that's the medication kicking-in.
You might want to change the time of day you take them, so that the tiredness hits at a more appropriate time. About two hours before bed seemed to suit me, though I was on different ones, so it mightn't be directly comparible.
Hi Siobhan, While we're on the subject of armpit hair, I wonder if French trannies shave their armpits (since French women often don't).

Dear Siobhan, Can you get Jolene cream bleach there? I'm a gal with dark hair on my arms, and I use it all the time, no sting factor if you measure carefully and DON"T USE TOO MUCH ACTIVATOR! That is the key! Also, just lightly coat the hair, don't rub it into the skin. Tips from a Girl Who Knows! P.S. I love MAC, they have such great products! Welcome, new convert!
