Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. ...in advance for what is no doubt going to be just an excuse to show some holiday snaps.

I was thinking the other day, whilst snapping away with my camera-phone and emailing them to Flickr (I did have reception after all) that there's a bit of a Thing™ going on at the moment ... it used to be that you'd bore your friends to tears when you got back from a holiday by forcing them to sit gormlessly through endless pictures of you in a sun-hat standing in front of some megalithic monument.

But now, with the power of camera-phones, Flickr and a blog, you can bore them to tears while you're still on holiday :biggrin:

Instead of writing a blow-by-blow account (steady now :unsure: ) of the past few days, I thought I'd just dump a ton of pictures here. The only thing I will say, is that the first crop were inspired by Joanna creating an Extreme Crossdressing group on Flickr.

No offense girls, but I thought the ones posted were a tad tame. So I thought I'd raise the bar a little :wink:

Kath's family "retreat" is really a gorgeous place. Remote, cut-off, miles from civilisation. Gorgeous :smile:

As well as being The Most Beautiful Girlfriend In The World™, Kath is also rather good at organising Activities™. Yesterday, she set us the task of building a sculpture on the beach — so I made this:

Pile of stones

It took ages to get them to stay up. I'd get to nearly the top, and then putting on the last one would make them all fall down :sad:

I made another one using square flat stones — but it fell down and I couldn't be bothered building it again.

So there you go. Fun™ was had by all. Kath is now en-route to Orkney for a week's cycling with her mother and sister. I, on the other hand, am all set for a week of Knuckling Down To Doing Some Work™

Which will be (a) not so much fun, but (b) far less knackering :smile:

It's still a bit sodden hon. Dried out a lot yesterday, but then Kath's uncle arrived and I had to hide it.

(Not the sort of first-impression you really want to make: "Hi Uncle! This is my boyfriend, and that's his wedding dress" :wink:

ARGH! I missed that A.G. exhibition on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum by one day! One day! I'm sure it was still there, even, but the lift attendant wouldn't let me in.

Not that I was upset about it, or anything. :sad:

I've got to be honest, I looked at the first photo and thought you'd bounced too high into the blades of a passing helicopter — took me ages to spot where your head had gone (this is what happens when you approach 40 — be warned!)

But this is a gag that deserves an award, or at least to inspire an award. And it's a lot funnier than Uranus.

Siobhan have to wait to see what you're up to with the spamming guy, but I'd been having problems too, with my guestbook. I just set-up a flag, had the entry emailed to me and then went into the database to delete or approve. Took it a stage further a couple of days ago and had a page display all new entries with an "approve" and "delete" link for each one — now I just check the page and click away. OK, so there's a delay in new entries being approved and appearing in the guestbook, but at least it keeps the B*stards at bay.

Loved the action piccies, tell me are Katie's parents in on your little secret — and whose trampoline are you using, or did you take it with you? :smile:
