Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.

Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Calendr

Um, I had an idea for a Thing™

July

I don't know how I'm going to make it work, but wouldn't it be fab to have automagically-created monthly calendars using your Flickr photographs taken from on (or around) the right days?

That would be brilliant.

Off you go then...

Um...is that like this?

OK, Kris, that's really embarrassing

Arse

Sorry.

Proves it was a good idea though.

Wheel

OK, I've had an idea for another thing.

wheel

What you do right, is you take a big square thing, right. And trim down all the corners until it's more like a circle. Then you use it to get around places. Perhaps attached to a car. Maybe.

The Best Thing Since...

I was just about to write another entry in the vein of that one above, centred around my new brilliant idea for taking a loaf of bread, and cutting it into slices, when I remember a thing I saw on the news a few hours ago.

and also:

I love that Hovis gave their new crust-less bread the codename "Project Curly" But the only market I can see for it is cucumber sandwiches...

I love it! I did think that the flickr calendar idea was reinventing the wheel somewhat, but this Big Square Thing With The Corners Cut Off sounds like it has real potential!

So what was the best thing before sliced bread?

Breadknives

So what was the best thing before sliced bread?

Bread-knives!

Alli' Cat'

Um, I believe I just made that joke...

So, on a bored Monday night, I think "what shall I do? I know, I'll have a look at that 'tranniesphere' thingio, see what it looks like, that might kill a bit of the evening".

It did.

Turns out for me it looks like a tiny corner of it, while the Spinning Pie Of Doom sets off rolling and I have to force quit Preview and restart, twice, 'cos I thought it might be ok if I didn't have anything else running.

Damn.

Summer

Summer

There's something about these plants that remind me of holidays at my Gran's in Brighton when I was a kid. I know they're all over the place, they just say<br />"summer" to me

haha — sorry, I read the accidentally visible tag as innocent irony...

"summer"

or "brrrr, its the british summer"

no doubt you will fix the error and my comment will become meaningless. Hmmmm, must be some irony in that too.

ah crap — how do I delimit tags? want to use pre's but your weird-ware (tm) will filter them out no doubt.

oh poop the Crust's the best part of bread  Love your idea about trimming the square thingy, Im sure there a use for those round ones
