That, is about as festive as I get 
It was only at about 8am this morning, that it suddenly dawned on me that today is Friday. Friday! I'm supposed to be in Belfast tomorrow 
I keep thinking "Ack, I'll buy some presents later" every time I'm out in town — because the sheer hassle of fighting through crowds and queues is doing my head in. But I think I'd better hurry-it-up a little. Perhaps.
Let's see. Mum, Dad, sister. That's two bottles of wine and some chocolates then...

I saw that advert earlier this evening. Clearly we are all so dull that we will not want to spend time with our families in celebration. We will not even (perish the thought) want to watch anything on television (haven't these people heard of The Christmas Invasion?). All we will want to do is puzzles in a cheap and nasty section of a cheap and nasty paper.
