Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.

Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Concerns

tagcat tish

My cat (Tish, not Biscuit), is (as I'm forever pointing out) partly feral. Or at least his mother was. Or something.

He's prone (as I've mentioned before) to going on long wanderings and mini-adventures, and his territory extends right up to Vicarage Fields.

Whenever I'm away for a while, and friends feed the little monsters for me, they often remark that they don't see much of him — or perhaps that they don't see him at all. I usually shrug this off, because he's been known to disappear for over a week (no doubt feeding on rabbits and stuff) only to pop back through the cat-flap and demand tuna.

The thing is though, I've been home for two days now, and he hasn't made an appearance. I'm sure he's just out on his rounds, but I'd like to see him before I head off to Leeds on Tuesday because I'm going straight down to London from there, and won't be back until Sunday/Monday.

...

Actually, shit, I need to arrange someone to feed them this week...

Christopher Ashley: HTML Drawings (2001-2004)

Wow, I'm absolutely loving theseso much better than the idea I had the other day of taking little groups of pixels from photographs and enlarging them.

...oh, I hope your kitty decides to come back.

I choose not to comment on the HTML drawings.

Ack, I'm sure he will hon. He does this all the time — it's just that I'd like to see him before I go away for a bit.

Yep — on the train home from London last weekend

I am so untraveled (on the train from London, anyway)...

A Tiny Pre-Who Plot Speculation

tagdoctorwho

I'm just looking at the hi-res poster image for this week's episode, and I'm wondering if those things on the roof are the same as the Reapers that we saw in Father's Day...

Who cares?! K9!

I found it a bit disappointed that K9 had rusted. He's supposed to be from the future so surely they would have come up with a metal in the future that doesn't rust. something like maybe aluminium

Enjoyable episode that one

That was my thought as well. Here's hoping that they try to avoid such similarities in future.

But as you say, K9! Wonder if they had the same problems getting it to move as they did originally?

Speaking of similarities, did anyone else expect Sarah Jane Smith to say "Harriet Jones, Prime Minister"?

No? No?

OK, just me then

I thought that was bloody great — my faith in the series has been restored to pant-wetting levels. I have a little theory though, that I'm just about to research before I post it (for a change)...

...

...Damm. My little theory was that this series is following the same llines as the last one: Episode 1, a bit crap; Episode 2, Victorian ghostiness; Episode 3, blast from the past.

But I'd be missing out The End Of The World, and the two espisodes with those baby-faced farting monstrosities.

Never mind

The great thing, is that I know for certain that in a house in North London — quite probably Islington, two small children are now screaming in their beds, complaining of nightmares, and asking if they can sleep with their parents, while their mother is shouting at their father, saying "Look! I told you that they weren't allowed to watch Doctor Who before their bedtime"

You know, just because you can add something to a weblog, doesn't mean you have to.

I think we've seen the emotional theme for this series of Doctor Who, Rose growing up and deciding where she and the Doctor stand with regards to one another. Explains why they were grinning like loons for the first two episodes. And that bit when the Doctor talks about why he always runs out on his companions and never goes back, up there with Chris Ecclestone at the end of 'Dalek' perhaps?

Yes, but isn't that the usual "I am immortal and you are going to get old" conundrum? I'm trying to think of other instances, but the only one that pops into my head is Christopher Lambert in Highlander

I must just say though, that the prospect of having Mickey as an assistant for a few episodes, does not fill me with excitement. I was really hoping he'd team up with Sarah Jane — I think that could have worked.

Three weeks after Miss K, but still ... not bad eh?

CĂ´tes du Rhone is a fav of mine.

Feh. I have like twelve views on one of my pictures. Hah!

Ha. One of my pictures has over 200 views, but only because I tagged it with "penis," "dick," and other phallic references.

And here we have another reference to that on your blog. XD
