Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Did you manage to find that present for your 90 year old???
Not yet — I'm waiting until Friday/Saturday. It's my Gran you see — she's 90 on Saturday and the whole family is getting together. My sister is coming to stay with me tomorrow night, so I might pool with her and see what we can come up with.
TV Quickie
Just spotted that on ITV3 tonight at 9pm, The Two Ronnies is apparently one of the ones with "The Worm That Turned" in it.
I've mentioned it before, but it was one of my earliest transvestite memories as a kid — wishing that the whole scenario (men being forced to dress as women by women dressed as men) was actually real.
I've set my PVR to record it. I could possibly, maybe, potentially do copies if anyone wants to see it.
But there's a documentary about Frank Lloyd Wright on BBC4! Decisions, decisions....
A documentary that's repeated at half-past eleven
Watch both!
I Have A Great Desire To Be At Home
It's Thursday afternoon, about twenty to six. Ahead of me this evening, is a 2-3 hour drive back to Lancaster — the only thing stopping me from walking out the door with a spring in my step being the shitty Leeds rush-hour traffic, and an alarming tendancy of my car to overheat while standing in traffic.
The reason I want to be at home quite so much, is it feels like I've not spent any time there at all over the past week or so. Since Monday week ago, I've been at home for just one night, and I think the cats have probably forgotten who I am.
That's not to say that I regret in the slightest being away from home — I've had a seriously good time with April down in London (add your own euphamism here), but I'm so bloody drained, and the thought of being in my own space for a few days is absolutely delectable.
Ack, sorry — get me whining on like a pathetic cow. Half a bottle of wine and some large poofy dress will sort me out...
"I Have A Great Desire To Be At Home" sounds like a great Morrissey lyric to me.
Regarding your overheating car; check your radiator fan is working otherwise you are risking blowing the head gasket and warping the cylinder head.
