Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.

Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

'Fess Up

taglogs searchqueries

Right. Sorry. Busybusybusy. Lots and lots of fun 3D-building-type things to do tonight, having spent most of yesterday crawling around the floor of our studio with a measuring tape.

But before I lock myself in a cupboard and spend the evening ctrl-clicking things (and because I'm lazy and even though I could find out through log-trawling, I really can't be arsed) can somebody please own up to this...

nosey siobhan shouldn't look at referals or frock site:www.tranniefesto.co.uk/

*harumph*

Re: search script no longer seems to work

tagtranniefesto

please could you link me to the posts where you talk about your camera and the printing of your stripey picture

Sure. I think this is the post you mean. Try Googling for "Metro Imaging, London" as well. And although I've never had stuff printed onto canvass, April favicon has, so she might know about stuff like that.

Just catching up...

How come when someone doesn't have a gravatar, erin throws in a male silhouette?

Because Erin likes boys. (Actually, I 'adapted' the standard Apple User icon. Bad Siobhan)

how can you stand that mouse? I mean, they look awsome but I can't stand them

Any software that requires more than two buttons on a mouse is a lazy piece of software

See, I thought about joining in and taking a photo of my desk, but then I realised what happened the last time you started a photoblogging trend...

Actually, I thought of a really good meme for this one, involving who's weblog was on the screen — essentially you'd 'tag' the next person by having their blog in shot, and in a "Mornington Crescent"-kind thing, the winner would be the first person to tag Jon favicon. But I screwed up if I wanted that to be a big meme.

Please tell me that is not a cup with the words 'RTFM' on it ?

It most certainly is

And if that Costa cup had mocha in it

Straight filter-coffee I'm afraid. In the mornings, I can't be arsed hanging around while they do all the Barista stuff, y'know?

Drinkers can't expect the effect of a lifetime of heavy boozing to be mitigated by a foamy latte in the morning however

I'm holding out for someone to discover that red wine protects your lungs from smoke (although I'm sure I'm going to be waiting for a long time)

What display is that? Is it widescreen?

It's an Apple 20" Cinema Display. Yes it is widescreen. No you can't have it

While I'm guilty of writing a message in a Google search referral once before, that's not mine.

My methods are much more refined and do not even rely on the search in question ever actually linking to this place

Also, so you're telling us "LMB: follow link, RMB: context menu, MMB: link in background tab" is not an ideal configuration?

I'm holding out for someone to discover that red wine protects your lungs from smoke (although I'm sure I'm going to be waiting for a long time)

Apparently white wine protects your lungs from smoke.

I believe that is known as checkmate

"Any software that requires more than two buttons on a mouse is a lazy piece of software"

... like Second Life, mayhaps?

Also, so you're telling us "LMB: follow link, RMB: context menu, MMB: link in background tab" is not an ideal configuration?

LOL, OK. Let's not go there

Apparently white wine protects your lungs from smoke.

That's enough to make me try the awful stuff

... like Second Life, mayhaps?

Dammit.

can somebody please own up to this...

Not me, I always stick my hidden messages in the URL, and as far as I know, you've never caught one.

"Any software that requires more than two buttons on a mouse is a lazy piece of software"

Actually it's me that's too lazy to reach over and hold the control key while I click on something...

Mmmm, white wine... That's almost enough to make me start smoking, though considering all my friends smoke my lungs probably think I smoke at Father Ted levels already...

That's enough to make me try the awful stuff

Ha. I knew you'd crack sometime!

PS. I think I know what's coming next

Smartypants
