Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
Drama, Excitement
I've never been on a train where someone's pulled the emergency cord before. This could either be an exciting, or a tedious and annoying experience...
...it was neither. But I think someone might be in trouble ![]()
Yeah — a bit disappointing isn't it? I thought it would be a mess of screeching brakes, with passengers flying everywhere and much bloggable material. But the train just gradually slowed down to a halt ... and then started again. The only way I knew that someone had pulled the cord was because an annoying voice kept saying "Train crew. Be advised. The emergency cord has been pulled". Which is a bit shit really.
Oh, and Jess, you are a Bad Girl™ ![]()
There should at least be a siren.
And flashing lights.
Flashing lights deffo. A siren would be the icing on the cake for me.
Mmmm. Cake...
What? No screeching brakes? What kind of emergency system is that? I'd ask for a refund if I was you.
Emily Grae
Considering I didn't pay for the train to start with, I doubt I'd get anything back ![]()
You didn't pay for the train? You mean you used someone else's? Isn't that a bit... grubby?
There needs to be a screeching halt and conductors running around like they don't know what to do! Where was the mass hysteria?
Somehow, i don't think you would survive public transport over where i live.
Panic, screeching brakes, people yelling, and sirens is what i call a "slow day"
(Ok, i exagerate, it's just a normal day.)
Were you travellng to/from somewhere nice?
You practicing to become a hairdresser Miss K? ![]()
Yes. Yes I am. Can I get you a coffee?
Which is a bit shit really.
Another typical trip with Virmin Trains ![]()
We need 'Preview' because we haven't all quite given up the demon drink yet... Quite...

I did it once, it just made a buzzing noise and the train was stopped for ages.
