Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
Fire And Ice
So I was just driving home from a friend's house, after helping him shift a washing machine (Yeah, I know — so girlie aren't I?), and I caught a glimpse of the sun going down. For a second, I gawped in awe at this huge red ball of flames, poised above the horizon, and contemplated the sheer insignificance of my entire existence ... before I regained control of the wheel and avoided crashing into a house.
The minute I got home, I grabbed my camera and ran out to take a picture, but it was getting dark.
Still it's not bad. And a fairly 'OK' shot for my 1500th on Flickr.
But it's nothing, nothing, compared to this
Nature: pretty damm cool, official.
Comment Brain Not Engaged
I do, believe it or not, read Other People's Blogs™. And when I do, I invariably seek to leave the most hilarious, witty, bon mot that I can.
However, sometimes I find myself staring at obvious set-ups, unable to come up with a punchline.
Here are some examples from tonight:
Thrilling Adventures In Time And Space — "Something to do with 'Trigger'"
Parasomnia — "Something to do with a reference to mouthguards and playing rugby in your sleep, but plumping for the easy and obvious target"
FlickrJacking — "Something to do with it being a bit like FlapJacking, but with less treacle"
Mars — "Something about 'Marathon'"
A Rogue Gang Of Transvestites... — "Something, just something. Feel. Need. To. Comment"
I hope that will suffice ![]()
that pic of the sun is pretty fine, it looks almost three dimensional.....
and the fire rainbow is breath-taking, i saw a bit about it in the guardian the other day and ment to blog about it.
Sunset pic... very, very cool. Right place at the right time. I am green with envy.
Lovely Pic, Shame you didn't see a fire rainbow though. That would have been fantastic
What a gorgeous sunset. I have tried to get a pic as nice as that for ages, but all my efforts have fallen short.
It's my first visit here, but I'll definitely be back.

It looks really other-worldy. Who needs American fire-rainbows ![]()
That fire-rainbow picture was taken only a few miles away from my house. If I had stepped outside for a moment I could have seen it for myself, but I've got a label on my forehead that says, "Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight." So I missed it. People at work talked of it as if the world was coming to an end.
