Gregorian Significance
Today is a very, very important day.
Not because of this, or even this, but because today is the one day in the year that you don't have to open up iCal to find out what day it is.
I bet "Becca" uses iCal

I'm still struggling to understand the significance of 17th July other than the significances you stated were not significant.

I think that the Icon for iCal is the picture of the calendar with 17 July on it. I think that was the point, hence
