Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

That's a bit better, but, you know, the sun would be nice again. Especially for tomorrow.
Stream Diversity
Relocated back in the world of Flickr (phew), a thought struck me as I was peeking at the photographs from my contacts. I often look in wonder at some of the photos that appear when I click "Contacts", and wish I could take photographs like X, Y or Z. "Wow", I thought. "There's so much diversity in the streams that I subscribe to. I guess I don't really want to take pictures like them. I guess I'm just happy using Flickr in my own little way, and watching the amazingness of others".
In my contacts list, as an example of this diversity, there are photobloggers, landscapes, portraits, screengrabs, paparazzis, and abstracts...

It amazes me — it really does — the images that plop onto my screen each morning.
...
In a similar vein, I got made a contact by *Hiro overnight, whose photostream led me to this set of photographs from 9/11.

Anyway, I'm off to Leeds, where tomorrow I will be wearing a gown.
(Ha ha! Can I make that joke too many times?

Twice!!!
I like having comments in bold ![]()
That's as may be, but they don't fit with my aesthetic ![]()
There's properly formatted STRONG tags all over the source! Did you fix the comments but keep them looking broken? Now THAT'S commitment. ![]()
Well, you know, I didn't want broken tags all over the place, but if I fixed just the one then some of the comments wouldn't have made sense ![]()
Currantly
Sorry [blush] — I did try to fix it.
