Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
On Being Offline
photos summer lazy lancaster heysham
I do, really, spend too much time sat at this computer. So for the past few days I've been exploring the strange world of Real Life. It has involved (a) sunshine on a beach, (b) ancient rock things, and (c) shifting bloody great big boxes and driving a van...
...a Tranny Van — oh, the joy ![]()
I could, I suppose, write some great big piece of prose on all the things I've been up to — but that would require me Being Arsed™. So instead, here are some photos...
It's awfully lazy of me, I know. But I will try and compensate by writing something worthwhile at some point in the future.
Yes, I was going to mention that as well. Is that in the graveyard at St Peter's at Heysham?
I like the stone graves as well.
(Actually, a quick Google reveals they're some of the earliest Christian burial sites in the country — from c.600 AD!)
Blimey
I had thought they were about the sasme as the chapel — 11th century.
What amazes me about them though — apart from their sheer age and the unbelievable dramaticism of their location — is how these enigmatic snippets of the past are nestled within what essentially is Chav Central.
Heysham village: Olde Worlde.
Heysham itself: Sprawling council estate and old people.
On the subject of gravestones, perhaps you'd like my favourite epitaph — it goes, in English:
Remember Eubolus the sober, you who pass by,
And drink: there is one Hades for all men.
looks like you had a nice relaxing time, good onya ![]()
I always like Spike Milligan's "I told you I was ill"
Eep, I got my flickr alias wrong
It should be right now, sorry. It's boring anyway, but I hate broken links.

I love the gravestone: "Poet, Philosopher, Failure" — brilliant.
