Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
Remotivation
It's half-past six in the evening. Outside my house — at the front and the back — the local kids are running around, screaming, taunting dogs, hitting things with sticks. Sunlight is casting strange shadows through the house, as the slide into Autumn illuminates nooks and crannies that haven't seen daylight since this time last year. Biscuit is peering out the back window, trying to negotiate an aloe vera plant in her continuing quest for food.
Over on my right, a light just turned itself on.
I, myself, am sitting on my sofa with my laptop, arms curled into an odd position that I've only just noticed — propped-up awkwardly on the cushions — with my feet curled underneath me. I'm sucking the last dregs of a less-than-sucessful roll-up, held cautiously between my index and middle fingers, and in front of me is an against-my-better-judgement glass of wine.
I'm feeling a bit scuzzy right this second. My t-shirt — which I really should have popped in the wash a couple of days ago — is flopping irritatingly around my arms having lost all semblence of 'shape' since I put it on. My face feels a bit cacky, and seeing as it's been two days since I washed my hair, stray wisps of slightly greasy tendrils keep brushing against my nose.
Today has, I must confess, been absolutely beautiful. I trudged out of the door quite early on to nip to the bank (stupid bloody new debit card won't work online until I shove it once through a cash machine — how daft is that?), and bumped into NRT
on my way home, who informed me that being as it was "Heritage Day", loads of interesting places in Lancaster were open to the public.
Armed with this knowledge, and bolstered by the glorious sunshine, I swore to myself that today wasn't going to be one of those days where I just sit on my arse at my Mac, refreshing Flickr every ten seconds to see if anyone had commented on a photo of mine or wandering aimlessly around my Second Life house.
(Of course, having promised myself that, I then went and spent the day refreshing Flickr every ten seconds to see if anyone had commented on a photo of mine or wandering aimlessly around my Second Life house
)
And as a result, like I said, I'm sat here on the sofa at a quarter to seven¹ with greasy hair and the stub of a fag, wondering what in the hell I'm going to do tonight.
Evenings have recently slumped into a bit of a routine for me. I crack open a bottle, engage in some way with the Internet — reading, writing, commenting or SLing — until I get so drunk that I'm about ready for bed, but before I do that there's just enough time to listen to some music at full volume, and maybe, you know²...
But right now that seems tiresome, unappealing, and a little tedious. So I'm going to do something different for a change...
¹ There you go — that's how fast/slow I type.
² Oh go on, use your imagination. Four letters, rhymes with "bank"
That was the thiny-veiled plan... ![]()
Well? What are you doing?
I'm listening to Gotan Project nd wandering whether to watch The Life Aquatic. I love that film ![]()

Dressing up like a girl ![]()
Some Of My Friends Hate This Skirt
This may, of course, seem totally irrelevant — especially if this is the first time you've ever come my way. I mean FFS this is a tranny blog, and it shouldn't be a hugely significant deal to see your host hostess trussed up in a pair of stockings...
...but this is the first time I've done this¹ since June. So I feel some kind of gravitas is in order.
¹ "this" as in "make-up and shit"
[Insert hilarious "TV"-based Title Here]
The Rocky Horror Picture Show has just started on ITV3. For once, I'm actually dressed for it ![]()
Nice to see ![]()
Love the skirt, the ones that dont are probably jealous you look so good in it.
WTF?!
I'd love to go to the Royal premier for that one...
The clips I've seen lead me to think that the Queen actually is Helen Mirren's stunt double.
Haven't dressed since early July either.. and probably wont for another few weeks...
And thats a nice skirt ![]()
She doesn't look a bit like she does on the stamps...
The stamps are crap drawings — should be replaced with stripes....
I heartily endorse that...

He he! All over the city, people are doing the same on a Saturday night
You've got me wondering what you're doing now.
