Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Well, I think all of the people who actually fought in The War™ are dead by now![]()
I wonder how many people observed the silence? I did, but then I was asleep. I'd forgotten all about it if I'm honest.
Not yet Beki. Still plenty of WWII veterans about (like my Grandad). I think all the WWI are gone now, just.
Believe it or not there are several WW1 veterns still with us in the UK including one not far from here (Nottingham). Considering what they've been through it's amazing they got to retirement age.
Can't get the Dave Lee Travis 'cover' out of my head now......A Scammell hauling bricks....
I think everybody has Black Dog Moments I know I do, it's when that seems the normal state that you need to get concerned. Trust me I've been there, there's nothing big and tough about suffering needlessly, people are trained and want to help if you really start to get down.
I really enjoy this site (even though I don't get the SL 'thing') Thank You
Lurker Nick
Nick Perry
I just wanted to say hello to Nick because I'm a lurker too, and I used to live in Nottingham, so I felt a connection.
Hello Nick.
Alison
I know that there are still The War 2; The War Strikes Back™ veterans, I was just wandering about the The War™ veterans
even though I don't get the SL 'thing'
Don't worry Nick — no-one gets the SL thing
And thank you too
Deathline At The Bunker Club
At which they rocked ![]()
I finally got to go to one of Kei's gigs
There is a large backstory to this, which I can't tell yet because it's all hush hush ![]()
But it's a good one ![]()
I also still can't tell you my good news — I'm waiting for my brother to call me still
all hush hush
Yes, this is why I didn't invite a lot of people I would ordinarily have invited. But it was a good dry run and we'll definitely be doing this properly in SL!
Thanks to Kisa for making me get off my arse and do this.
Well, actually I stayed on my arse and did it.
I love Second Life!
Where else could you be Jennie, I be you, and I be simultaneously someone completely different and bald? The interpersonal switching today has completely fried my brain ... in a good way ![]()
At one point, with my left hand typing on the laptop and my right on the G5, I felt like the Rick Wakeman of SL.
I liked the bit when Graham and Kaoru met in Miramare
Yes, that was interesting — and just a little bit freaky ![]()

aaiee!
wow
davew
Stripey jumper and dreds? Are you a crusty in SL then?
Tidy
Those aren't dreds
They're just "not great prim-hair".
(All prim-hair is too chunky these days. I like Kisa's, because it's 'fluffy' — no-one seems to do it like that any more)
I did actually buy the dred version of that hair by mistake the first time... ![]()
Clearly I've been using the pooter too long today. I did a double take with K's gig picture because in my bleary square-eyed state I assumed at first it was a photograph! SL looks cool but I have neither the time nor the hardware. And I'd probably end up looking exactly like I do in the original real world.
I like Kisa's hair too. It's exciting in a kind of backcombed-but-not way. ![]()
[snip]
Looks like you got spam. Good line of trolleys though. ![]()
Rachel
Oh bloody hell ![]()
Yeah, there's something screwy going on there
What's worse is I didn't get an email saying that all those comments were posted. There must be something wrong with the Preview code — but I haven't got time to check it out right now, so I'll just have to keep an eye on things for a few days.
Arse.
Sorry for ignoring you but I've 'upgraded' to IE7 and been having a few problems as a result ![]()
Hi Alison things haven't changed much here, as I type the police helicopter is clattering around, sirens are going etc...bet you miss all this
Nick Perry
I actually think you could get away with dreads. Very popular in Leeds! I del.icio.us'd a link for you a while back that might be good for below your comment box.
Sorry i missed Deathline ![]()
Hope there you will perform soon again..
- there

The quality of participants in the Remembrance Day parade had taken a nose-dive this year.
