Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
Her Hir Majesty, The Queen's Siobhan Curran's Message to the Commonwealth TrannieSphere
Rousing fanfare. National Anthem — 'Man I Feel Like A Woman'
Christmas is, for many of us, a time to relax in the company of our families and friends. A time to celebrate our relationships with the ones that we love, to show each other how much we care through the giving of gifts, and, of course, to get blind steamingly drunk and veg out listening to some old bid on the telly rabbiting on about her "subjects".
But it's also a time for reflection — both on the past twelve months, and the promises of the next twelve¹.
As I sit here, in my palace terrace in Sandringham Lancaster, surrounded by my family cats, pondering the events of the past year, one word springs to mind more than any other:
"Diversity"
2005 was, perhaps, a year in which there was a great 'coming together' — many many disparate voices adding themselves into the ever-fluctuating mush of words know as the (eurgh) 'Blogosphere', forming a specific subset of it, centred around frocks.
2006 though, was the year in which that ram-shackle body of personalities and egoes started to venture out into the Great Unknown™, drifting away from the central theme, spreading into uncharted territories, all the time boldly asserting that their prelediction for wearing dresses was not such a weird and terrifying thing after all.
As a very incomplete list of examples of such redirection of our former colonies, we saw Miss K
concentrate more and more on her musical talents, Becky
cement her role as webcomic mistress extraordinare, April
(from the edges of our territories, not actually being a blogger as such) pushing her photography into new places.
And I myself, never one to defy convention, extended our reach into the unexplored virtual shores of Second Life
It strikes me, looking back through the bulk of what we did this year, that we have an awful lot to be proud of. I honestly think — perhaps rightly, perhaps wrongly — that at the very least we've demonstrated in some walks of life that men that wear frocks can be interesting, can be funny — intentionally funny — can be taken seriously.
And I hope that wherever you are, whatever you're wearing — whether it's what you want to or not — you'll join me in getting absolutely stuffed, absolutely rat-arsed, and raise your glasses to the TrannieSphere (©™)
Cheers guys
*hugs* all round.
A Happy Christmas to you all.
¹ I'm going to do one of those obligatory "My 2006"-type posts in the next few days. Sorry.
Meanwhile, On Channel Four
This year's Alternative Queen's Speech is brought to you by Kisa Naumova, via the medium of "A Quick Snapshot" because Siobhan's too lazy to get dressed up like this herself.¹
May everything you wish for in your Second Life come true in your First, and vice versa ![]()
¹ Although actually, once I've been out and done the Cat Run™, I might dig out a Big White Dress™, crack open a bottle in front of the fire, and tuck into the "Rökt älg salami snacks"² wot I got for Christmas.
² Smoked elk, apparently.
What, and incur the wrath of The Angels again? ![]()
A very merry christmas, I hope you are having a good day x
Buon Natale to all
Bloody hell, I was hoping to sleep through until after the speech. ![]()
Merry Christmas hon. ![]()
Did you do a special version for the Armed Forces?
Happy Christmas Siobhan.
So what did you think to the Dr Who Christmas Special?
I rather liked it, just wished I could have heard all of the dialogue over the TOO LOUD incidental music.
Did you do a special version for the Armed Forces?
Yep. Got my tits out as usual. They seem to go for that stuff
So what did you think to the Dr Who Christmas Special?
Honestly? In one word?
"Meh"
Yey, Christmas post, I was worried I'd get back and have nothing to read! ![]()
I agree with your Dr Who "Meh". It wasn't very inspiring, and I found I had the same problems with it that I'm having with Torchwood. This does not bode well for The Sarah Jane Adventures ![]()

Sweet! Porn!
The best part of Dr Who was when Rose's name was mentioned.
The disappointing parts of Dr Who all seemed to feature that Tate woman.
What's up for next Christmas — Dr Who meets Little Britain in time and space?

I'm going to do one of those obligatory "My 2006"-type posts in the next few days.
Something along the lines of "I got drunk, it was fab" would probably sum it up
Merry Xmas hon.
