Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Piss-up. Brewery
I really didn't think that one through, did I?
I think what I had in my head, before I set off for the weekend, was some notion of a blog-based Flash Mob — you know, I'll chuck a few details out, and suddenly the place will be swamped with people all wanting to meet up with one another.
And maybe it would have worked, had I had Decent And Proper Access To The Intertubes™, ie. some kind of connection where I could (a) write things on my own blog, and (b) let my email client do its usual job of filtering out all the spam so that I didn't have three thousand emails about how I could enlarge my cock before I found all the ones from people saying they'd like to meet up.
I think maybe, also, I have a slightly skewed expectation of everyone else's web-based browsing, not really realising that yous're not all glued to the screen like I am, refreshing pages every second just to see what's going on.
But hey ![]()
I had a great weekend. Despite one or two disappointing inabilities to meet up with certain people, I managed to see Stephanie, Luis and Pauline, and Koan for the first time (all of which were thoroughly joyous events, during which many things were talked about, and the world was put to rights over and over again).
I also (OMG) managed to go out in a frock — my gloriously cute purple velvet one — albeit with a pair of jeans underneath, my bra-straps showing, and exhibiting my unique ability to Not Shave Quite Properly™, with Ms Caity.
(Whose url I can't find, because Flickr seems to be down)
Yes, I totally (despite using text messages, blogging, Flickr and email) didn't manage to catch up with Becky
— but I'm sure I will soon.
...
And the main reason for going down?
My nephew (a) looks like Winston Churchill, and (b) has incredibly cute toes ![]()
I'm glad you had a good time! ![]()
It's always nice to meet the people you "converse" with over the ether! (Any photos, or did I miss the obvious? (Again.))
It's been way too long since I had a decent evening out. And tomorrow I've got a funeral to go to. Oy. Talk about cheerful. (A Shiva call just isn't the same as a wake. No whiskey. Sorry, I'm a bit too sacrilegious, at times.)
They always look cute at that age. And the best of it is: like his Gran and Grandad, you can spoil him rotten, and then complain to his parents when they try and stop you. (I've done this a few times...
) All the fun and none of the responsibility!

Delighted you had such a good time with us, Siobhan; and Pauline and I are both really looking forward to our little outing to the WayOut! By the way, you can see Pauline's photo of myself with siobhan here...

Very glad you saw your nephew. The small ones are the best. So sorry I didn't make it out on Sunday. I was following the progress, and then when the critical moment came, I was passed out. Don't give up on the plan. Next time...
