Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Turn To Stone
Dunno. Very unsure about this one. You know how when you spend ages and ages staring at something, you lose the ability to be critically objective about it? The more I look at this, the more I think "yes". But equally, I'm afraid of it being a "no".
So is the title of this one a pun too? ![]()
It's more of an obscure Photoshop reference, continuing the Stone Roses theme from last night (which was also a pun¹)
¹ In fact, they're almost always puns. Or, at the very least, some kind of word-play
Curran' puns?
Great, now I have that ELO song "Turn to stone" running through the old noggin'. I guess I'll share ![]()
The city streets are empty now
The lights don't shine no more
And so the songs are way down low
Turning,turning,turning
dah-dah-dah
don't know these words
I turn to stone when you are gone
I turn to stone,turn to stone
When you coming home
I can't go on
(Whew, says everyone else.
)
I now have to go find that ELO CD and listen to it. Darn it. First it was Helen Boyd with her posting about Marc Bolan, and now Siobhan with ELO! 1970's flashback time, I guess.

Oh bollocks. You see what I've gone and done there? I've completely shown my total lack of music knowledge up by getting the title of Made of Stone wrong — and now I can't go back and change it ![]()
"Turns into stone" is a stone roses lyric (i think) and the title of a crappy silvertone stone roses best of LP...kinda most of the way there.
Stone Roses
Oh right... I just thought you were being smutty ![]()
Great.
I couldn't find that ELO CD collection, and so while listening to the Dixie Chicks' latest (Long Way Home; really good stuff!), I have "turn to sto-one, I tu-rn to sto--one" running through the old noggin.
I think I'll go read Helen Boyd's post about Marc Bolan. Maybe I'll start "listening" to some T-Rex. Remember them? (Maybe not. You're all likely too young.
)

Oooo — nice one.
