Hello
I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.
Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...
/me grunts
It's typical, isn't it? You lie there in bed during the small hours of the morning, head clogged full of things you know you shouldn't be worrying about at that ridiculous time, your body refusing to find the elusive Comfortable Spot™ that you know must exist on the mattress somewhere.
And then when you do finally drop off (off to sleep, not off the mattress), you wake up tired and exhausted, just at the point of your dream where things were getting interesting.
And by interesting, I mean "[Knock at door] Hello! Is this Mac Pro for you?"
(OK, so I think I was also wearing a Little Bo Peep outfit in it as well)
...
I have to confess, yesterday was Not A Good Day™. I get like this when I'm coming up to the end of some project or something — a ball of stressy goo that dithers itself into a completely useless congealed lump.
I mean, getting into work ten minutes before a two-hour meeting which (I confess) I'd forgotten about, and threw my whole planned schedule out of sync wasn't exactly the most helpful thing in the world. But hey.
Anyway, basically, *gah*
But we got all the stuff we needed to done, and so if you're free at just before
11.00am, can I recommend visiting http://www.milliseconds.co.uk, if for no
reason other than watching what happens when the counter gets to zero. ![]()
(Actually, it's quite good. We're rather proud of the Level One students ![]()
