Hello smile

I'm Siobhan Curran/Kisa Naumova, and this is my weblog. I tend to write about stuff like crossdressing, Macs, code, cats, wine and Second Life, but in general it's just an ongoing conversation about all sorts of stuff. If you'd like to know a little bit more about what this all is, I recommend starting on this page which has a little bit of info on who I am, and what I'm trying to do — or you could dive into my five years worth of archives if you like.

Otherwise, feel free to close this box and explore...

Post-Emptive Photographic Explanations

"I should probably post some kind of description, huh?" said myself, as Amiee was nabbing one of the blurry photos of the speakers from yesterday's entry to use on (presumably) her own blog.

"Yes, you probably should"

I have been stressed of late. I know everyone thinks I have probably the Easiest Job In The World™, or something, but once every quarter or so, I get massively worked up by part of my job. Not a part of the job itself, so to speak — rather, having to deal with one particular person, who makes a seemingly easy piece of web-curation into a herculean task of faffing, disorder, and ridiculous mind-changing flim-flam.

(I could rant, but I won't shouldn't. Just ask Thau about the hilarious "you just put everything together in the last two weeks" moment, if you get a chance)

So anyway — /me was stressed, but kinda "well, it's all done, with no major disasters".

And then his speakers blew up in the middle of the event.

Which I found hilarious

Oh, to have been a fly on the wall at that moment

This piece of sculpture has been floating off my land in Munck ever since I
can remember. I always thought it was pretty, but my GOD look at it in
Windlight

Isn't fate utterly delicious sometimes?
