These are all the things in Siobhan's archives tagged as "downtime". If you want to narrow it down, you can use more than one tag, seperating them with a space.

Tentative "And We're Back" Post

I suppose now we'll get to see just how static this new IP address is...

Downtime

Yeah, I know, I only just got back up.

Coffee++

Coffee is glorious stuff. Not only does it kick-start your brain in the morning, and maintain high levels of alertness during the daily grind, you can also carefully hold a mug of the stuff in the hollow of your neck to get heat right into the muscle that you somehow managed to pull as you woke up a few minutes earlier.

Sorry About That

I've been in a panic all week, but it was my router (again). As much as I'd like to write long things about this week, (a) I'm drained completely of every last piece of creative energy, and (b) I probably shouldn't. I imagine there's a few picture from Flickr to appear soon - I forget what I took and sent to the blog...

For The Record

I occasionally have little moments of downtime. It's almost a running joke I presume - I get texts and IMs telling me Erin is down every once in a while, and counteract with "I must teach the cats to reboot the router". Or something. This has, though, been quite an extended period of offlineness for me (she said, presuming she's going to be back up sometime soon) ... but the longest I was down for was between the 26th of November, 2003 and the 29th of January, 2004[1]

Experimental Downtime

Like I said the other day, the whole BT snafu means that I'm going to have to change my IP address. So, from later on this evening (probably about midnight if I don't get too drunk and pass out beforehand[1]) I'll be online, but my blog (and email) won't be. It'll just take the internets a few hours to catch up and re-index themselves.

I'm hoping that the new account will be a bit more stable than the one I'm currently on, and that those nasty days when I'm offline completely without warning will become a thing of the past...

...but I bet they won't ;)
